Creative Access Resource 2019

This Creative Access Resource was inspired by Jack Crabtree's "Polluted Pool at Maindee" which is displayed in the National Museum, Cardiff. This resource was to enable greater accessibility for the museum's visually impaired and blind visitors. This was a tactile multimedia textile resource using embroidery,  sculptural and painting techniques to allow viewers a tactile experience. The piece is embroidered onto a towel along with a grubby swimming cap to resemble the nostalgic feeling of rolling up a swimsuit and cap in a towel and setting off to the local swimming baths.
